Welcome to Chesterton Yeates. We are an independent letting and property management agent covering Oxford and surrounding areas with extensive local knowledge of Oxfordshire specialising in residential lettings.
We are members of ARLA and have over 20 years combined experience providing a professional, personal bespoke service to both Landlords and Tenants.
We can give expert advice on just about anything from selecting an investment property, project-managing your renovation, finding the best tenant and hands-on full property management.

We will provide an expert rental valuation, market the property on rightmove, list on our own website and advertise locally. We will carry out viewings and ensure your property is let to the most suitable tenant. We ensure landlords are protected and adhere to current legislation. Following our full tenant referencing and credit checks, Chesterton Yeates will prepare and execute the most up to date tenancy agreement which can be signed by both landlord and tenant electronically online. Each party is sent a signed completed copy. Our tenancy agreements are flexible and can be adapted to comply with whichever deposit scheme the landlord prefers. We protect the tenant deposit with the tenancy deposit scheme( TDS ). The tenant will receive a deposit certificate, prescribed information, EPC, gas safety certificate (if required) and how to rent guide.

Tenant find service:
50% of the first month’s rent (Min £500 | Max £1000)
Designed for landlords wishing to manage the property themselves but leaving the legal aspects and serving correct notices down to us. Landlords will benefit from ongoing advice and support.
Landlords will benefit from Chesterton Yeates expert knowledge and ongoing support and advice. Prior to the tenancy starting a professional independent inventory to be prepared and meter readings taken. We will notify utility companies when the tenant moves in and either settle or send the final bill to you. We will collect the ongoing rent and pay the balance to you to your nominated account. In the rare event of non-payment we have a late payment procedure such as telephone calls, emails and letters.

Rent Collection Service fee:
8% of the rent deducted each month

This complete service is our most popular and takes care of every aspect of letting and ongoing property management. Our experience and knowledge not only the gives assurance that your property is in highly capable hands, it can also save on unnecessary costly repairs. We only use professional, trusted contractors and have an emergency call-out service.
We familiarise ourselves with managed properties and have a hands-on approach throughout. Regular property visits are carried out and we will report back to you with a full report. Tenants are given a welcome pack and check in at the start of the tenancy and we negotiate all deposit deductions after check out.

At the beginning of the tenancy, we will meet the tenant at the property for a full check in and key handover and ensure the tenant is aware of how all appliances work and heating and hot water is controlled.
Chesterton Yeates will be the main point of contact for the tenant providing an equally high level of service to both landlord and tenant. Any maintenance issues raised are answered quickly and efficiently and we report the recommended remedy to the landlord. We never spend landlords money without prior authority unless its an emergency.
Full Management Fee:
10% of the rent deducted each month
